'Snail noodle or lousifen is a specialty of Liuzhou, Guangxi. It consist of slippery fresh rice noodles served in a soup made of river snails, pork bones, spices and herbs that has been boiled for a long time. Despite the name, the dish does not contain snail. It is served with pungent pickled bamboo shoots, long beans , fried peanuts , fresh vegetables and yuba. A generous amount of chilli oil is added before serving. This dish is famous for its strong smell. It is an internet viral product .
